Tyne Pressure Testing is a leading subsea pressure testing facility. We work closely with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) within the subsea and mining industries to simulate subsea environmental conditions down to depths of 15,000 metres.

Our nine hyperbaric chambers conduct subsea pressure testing on a range of components in compliance with API standards, including valves for deep sea, stand pipes, subsea harnesses and subsea vehicles.

The method used for subsea pressure testing is hyperbaric testing. Hyperbaric testing is essential to ensure the safety of a component and verify its strength and stability when operating under external pressure. This type of testing not only verifies the structural integrity of the component at its operating water depth but can also be used to verify the functionality of the component in operation conditions.

Not only can we provide flexibility to suit various components in terms of size and pressure, our knowledge and expertise means that we are a preferred supplier within the subsea industry for pressure testing.

Subsea components include; diver watches, cables, geophysical monitoring probes, subsea filters and diving equipment.
